Your e-mail tools will enable you to:

• Invite friends to join the race (or your team).
• Ask friends to donate in support of your personal goal.

How do tell friends to check out my personal webpage?

Send them an e-mail using the e-mail tools in My Race HQ. See instructions below.

Note: A link back to your webpage will be added to the bottom of every e-mail that you send. This is how your friends can easily find your page.

How do I send an e-mail message to my friends (invitations, thanks, donation requests)?

1. Log-in to My Race HQ by clicking on the "My Race HQ" button on the race homepage. Enter your username and password on the next screen and click the button labeled "Log in to My Race HQ." You are now in your race headquarters.
2. Scroll down to the section titled "Send E-mail."
3. Click one of the e-mail types, such as "Support Me", "Join My Team" or you can even start with a blank message. Once you click one of the links, the "Email Creation" window will come up.

4. Change the subject and text of the e-mail as you see fit. Note: A link back to your webpage will be added to the bottom of every e-mail that you send. This is how your friends can easily find your personal page and team page (if you are on a team).
5. Type e-mail addresses into the recipients box, seperated by a comma.
   Note: Alternatively you can add addresses to your online address book before creating an e-mail, and then select the addresses by clicking "Add Addresses."
6. Click "Send" to send the e-mail message.

How do I add contacts to my address book?

1. Log-in to My Race HQ by clicking on the "My Race HQ" button on the race homepage. Enter your username and password on the next screen and click the button labeled "Log in to My Race HQ." You are now in your race headquarters.
2. Scroll down to the section titled "MANAGE RACE HQ ADDRESS BOOK."
3. You have two options for adding contacts to your address book:
   
   • Add Contacts: If you wish to add contacts one at a time using a simple interface, then click the "Add Contacts" link. Then follow the instructions in the pop-up window to add each contact.
   • Import Contacts: If you wish to add a list of contacts all at once (for example from your Microsoft Outlook address book), then click the "Import Contacts" link. Follow the instructions to import your contact list. Note: This method is a bit more involved, but worth it if you need to add a lot of contacts.

How do I send e-mails using my address book?

Once you have added contacts to your address book (see above for instructions), you can send e-mails to those contacts by using the "Send E-mails" tools in My Race HQ. For instructions on how to send e-mails, see the questions above titled: "How do I send an e-mail message to my friends (invitations, thanks, donation requests)?"

Note: Use the "Add Addresses" link on the e-mail creation screen to add addresses from your address book.
