HOW TO USE "MY RACE HQ":
PERSONAL WEBPAGE

Think of your personal webpage as your personal online home-base for the race. Here you can tell people why you are participating and even post a photo. Friends and family can visit your page, read your message and donate in support of your fundraising goal. If you are on a team, you'll have a link back to your team's page.

How do I get to my personal page (by loggin in)?

1. Log-in to My Race HQ by clicking on the "My Race HQ" button on the race homepage. Enter your username and password on the next screen and click the button labeled "Log in to My Race HQ." You are now in your race headquarters.
2. Click the link labeled "Edit Personal Home Page." You are now at your personal homepage.

How do my friends get to my personal page without logging in?

You can give them a direct link to your page (see two questions below), or they can search for your page by following these instructions:

1. Click the "Sponsor Someone" link on the race homepage.
2. Click the button labeled "Sponsor an Individual."
3. Search for the participant name using one or both name boxes.
4. Once you have found the participant, click the "visit page" link. Now your friend has found your personal webpage where they can read your customized text and donate towards your goal.

How do I change the text or photo on my personal page?

1. Follow the instructions for "How to get to your personal page by loggin in" above.
2. Now that you have logged in, three small blue links will show up: "edit image", "edit header", and "edit copy." Click on any of those links will take you to the edit window.

3. Change the text as you see fit, and make sure to click "Update Profile."
4. To add a personal photo, click the "Choose" button to pick a photo on your computer to upload.
   
   Note: Before uploading, please crop/resize your image file to 200x200 pixels. Any Extra pixels will be automatically cropped.
   
   Be sure to click the "Update Image Now" button before closing the window.

5. Click the "close" link at the bottom of the window to close the window and refresh your personal webpage.

How can I point friends and family directly to my personal webpage?

You have two options for giving your friends a link to your webpage:

• Use our handy-dandy e-mail tools (Preferred). Every e-mail you send using our e-mail tools on My Race HQ will have links back to your personal page and team page (if you are on a team). Click here for instructions on how to send e-mails through My Race HQ.
• You could copy and paste the web address of your personal page into an e-mail message that you send via your e-mail provider (Outlook, AOL, Yahoo, G-mail, etc).
