HOW TO USE "MY RACE HQ":
TEAM WEBPAGE

The team webpage is very similar to the personal webpage in functionality. Think of your team webpage as your team's online home-base for the race. Here your team can tell people why you all are participating and even post a photo. Friends and family can visit your team's page, read the message and donate in support of your team's fundraising goal. Note: Anybody can view the team page, but only the team captain can edit it.

How do I get to my team's page (by loggin in. Only for Team Captains)?

1. Log-in to My Race HQ by clicking on the "My Race HQ" button on the race homepage. Enter your username and password on the next screen and click the button labeled "Log in to My Race HQ." You are now in your race headquarters.
2. Click the link labeled "Edit Team Home Page." If this link doesn't show up, you are not the team captain. Once you click the link, you will be taken to your team's homepage.

How do my friends get to my team's page without logging in?

You can give them a direct link to your team's page (see below), or they can search for your team's page by following these instructions.

1. Click the "Sponsor Someone" link on the race homepage.
2. Click the button labeled "Sponsor a Team."
3. Use the drop-down box to select the team's name, and click the "Click to Submit" button.
4. On the next page, click the "Visit Page" link. Now your friend has found your team's webpage where they can read your team's customized text and donate towards your team's goal. Also, the team page will have links to each team member's page.

How do I change the text or photo on my team's webpage? (only for team captains)

1. Follow the instructions for "How to get to your team's page" above.
2. Now that you have logged in, three small blue links will show up: "edit image", "edit header", and "edit copy." Click on any of those links will take you to the edit window.

3. Change the text as you see fit, and make sure to click "Update Profile."
4. To add a photo, click the "Choose" button to pick a photo on your computer to upload.
   
   Note: Before uploading, please crop/resize your image file to 200x200 pixels. Any Extra pixels will be automatically cropped.
   
   Be sure to click the "Update Image Now" button before closing the window.

5. Click the "close" link at the bottom of the window to close the window and refresh your team's webpage.

How can I point friends and family directly to my team's webpage?

You have two options for giving your friends a link to your team's webpage:

• Use our handy-dandy e-mail tools (Preferred). Every e-mail you send using our e-mail tools on My Race HQ will have links back to your personal page and team page. Click here for instructions on how to send e-mails through My Race HQ.
• You could copy and paste the web address of your team's page into an e-mail message that you send via your e-mail provider (Outlook, AOL, Yahoo, G-mail, etc).
